Testing of the Emergency Mobile Alert system is being conducted from Monday 16 October to Friday 20 October between 9am and 4pm. It is possible that some people may receive test messages on their phones if they are close to one of the test locations.

Local authorities are responsible for civil defence emergency management (CDEM) in their area. If life or property is threatened always dial 111 for Police, Fire or Ambulance.
